Dr. Saleh holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mansoura University, Egypt. In 2004, he earned his Master's degree in Pharmacology. Dr. Saleh obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Augusta University, USA, in 2010. Following this, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University from 2012 to 2016, where his research explored a novel link between inflammation and hypertension. Dr. Saleh a broad background in Pharmacology with expertise in exploring the mechanisms regulating blood pressure and renal function in experimental animal models of reno-cardiovascular diseases. Through a combination of in vitro and in vivo approaches, he has published over 60 manuscripts on this topic. He is currently an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah, where he has been working since 2019 while on sabbatical leave from his position as a Professor of Pharmacology at Mansoura University in Egypt.

Prof. Eman Abu-Gharbieh serves as Professor at the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Sharjah. She is the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and the Chair of Program Evaluation, Educational Quality Assurance, and Accreditation Committee. Prof. Abu-Gharbieh received her Doctorate in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Bologna- Italy in 2004 and her Pharmacy degree from the University of Jordan. As a keen researcher, Prof. Abu-Gharbieh is a member in many national and international societies such as American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET), National Centre of Biotechnology (NCB)-Jordan, Jordan Pharmaceutical Association (JPA). She is a member of two research groups at the Research Institute of Medical & Health Sciences (RIMHS), namely the Environment and Cancer Research group and the Improving Health Care Delivery and Medicines group. In addition, Prof. Abu-Gharbieh is a collaborator with the Global Burden of Diseases (GBD), and she is a member of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit at the University of Sharjah. Prof. Abu-Gharbieh received many grants for her research and published over 100 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented her work at various national and international conferences.

Then he did a Postdoctoral fellowship in mycotoxin manipulation and detoxification at Canadian Federal labs followed by another Postdoctoral fellow at UCLA in Chemical and biomolecular engineering of natural products. At UCLA Medical School, he was trained on infectious diseases, pathogenesis mechanisms and possible ways in diagnosis and treatment. Currently, he is an associate professor at the College of Pharmacy, UOS, UAE. Dr. Soliman is leading projects in chemical ecology and biotechnology of medicinal plants growing in the UAE and discovery and development of effective antimicrobials from UAE natural resources and to optimize their structures and activities.

During her fellowship, she was trained as an immunologist and conducted research on steroid hyporesponsiveness and airway remodeling in severe asthma. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Narjes worked on several projects to identify intrinsic and extrinsic factors associated with life-threatening SARS-CoV-2 infections. Her research interests are broad and include the immunopharmacology of respiratory medicine and genetic susceptibility to dysregulated immune response.

He has also taken part in and organized a large number of conferences and workshops. He has supervised many students through their master's and Ph.D. studies. His research interests are varied and include finding and testing new compounds and medicinal plants that could be used to create new drugs. He is also involved in cancer research, studies that look at the safety and effects of substances on living cells, and the development of new drug delivery systems. His work also includes research in the field of nanotechnology, especially as it relates to treating chronic diseases.

Dr. Jalal Taneera obtained his Ph.D. in experimental endocrinology from Lund University in Sweden in 2007. During his doctoral studies, his research focused on investigating the potential of adult stem cells to trans-differentiate into pancreatic beta cells for cell therapy in diabetes. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Taneera joined the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Lund University for his post-doctoral training. During this time, he also served as a coordinator for the Human Islets Facility at Lund University Diabetes Center (LUDC). In 2010, Dr. Taneera assumed a new position as a Research Scientist at LUDC, where his primary focus has been on genetic profiling of human pancreatic islets and identifying novel genes involved in developing type 2 diabetes. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the field, publishing more than 70 peer-reviewed papers in renowned journals such as Cell Metabolism, PNAS, Nature, and Human Molecular Genetics. In recognition of his research accomplishments, Dr. Taneera was selected as the best young researcher in diabetes among all Scandinavian countries during the Helsinki conference in 2013. Since March 2016, Dr. Taneera has been working as an Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah medical college. In his current role, he continues to pursue his research interests in diabetes and contribute to advancing knowledge in the field.

Dr. Abdulmohsen is head of the clinical pharmacy department in Armed Forced Hospital Southern region. In 2020, he got his Saudi board certificate in clinical pharmacy specialized in Internal Medicine. Before that and back to 2014, he graduated with his Master of Pharmacology degree from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK with distinction grade. He gained his experience from working in different institutions starting from national guard hospital in western region passing to Saudi food and drug authority and in Prince Sultan Military Medical City. Dr. Abdulmohsen has received numerous awards from different organizations based on participating with his research in global and local symposium and conferences.

Dr. Abdulaziz Alqahtani is a consultant ambulatory care clinical pharmacist and the chairman of Pharmacy Staff Development Unit at King Saud University Medical City. Dr. Alqahtani is the chairman of the Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialty Network within the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy. He is American board-certified in Ambulatory Care (BCACP) and Medication Therapy Management (BCMTM). Dr. Alqahtani received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science. After graduation, he joined the SCFHS residency program (PGY1) at King Saud University Medical City. in 2019, he was granted the Saudi Board Degree in General Clinical Pharmacy (ASHP Accredited), and then he persuaded the specialized Saudi Pharmacy Residency Program in Ambulatory Care. Dr. Alqahtani has presented several talks at national and international events. His current research focuses on clinical service management, Clinical Outcomes, comparative effectiveness research, and health education.

Dr. Mashal M. Alshazi, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and Vice director of the Vaccines Research for Infectious Diseases, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the University of Illinois, USA in 2015. During 2014, he joined AstraZeneca, Infection BioScience, Boston. During 2017-2018, he joined a fellowship program at Department of Pediatrics, National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development - Product Development Partnership. Dr. Alshazi is having several research grants from Saudi Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of National Guard (KAIMRC), Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) and King Saud University (KSU) for development of mRNA and protein based vaccines against MERS, COVID19 and other diseases. Dr. Mashal is working as vaccines and biologics consultant with several governmental bodies including: Saudi FDA and Ministry of Environment, Water and agriculture (MEWA). He is working as adjunct research scientist at Infectious Diseases Research Department, KAIMRC. He used to serve as a member with Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), Ready2Respond.

I completed a bachelor of pharmacy in 2015 from QUT in Australia and a doctor of pharmacy in 2019 from MCPHS in Boston. Following that, I completed a PGY-1 in 2020 at Melrose Wakefield hospital. I developed an interest in cardiology throughout the years of studying and had the opportunity to complete a second year residency in cardiology in 2021 from Brigham and women’s hospital in Boston. I also completed a fellowship in cardiology in 2022 from the same hospital focusing on heart failure and I’m a board certified cardiology pharmacist as of 2022. My personal and research interests are in anticoagulation and heart failure. Currently I am an assistant professor in the faculty of pharmacy at Kuwait University involved in several programs including the add-on PharmD.
