Dr. Ali Al Rahma is currently working in the Public Health Programs & Research Section, Public Health Protection Department, Dubai Health Authority (DHA) as a public health professional. His main tasks are conducting need assessments for developing public health strategies/policies and managing training programs for the public health workforce. Dr. Ali also worked on several DHA projects that aimed to improve community health in the emirate of Dubai such as the Tobacco Free Dubai, Happiness Prescription, and Diabetes Prevention Framework. He also worked as a graduate teaching assistant during his PhD in the Institute of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University. He taught and supervised medical students in public health clerkship as well as Master of Public Health (MPH) students in the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention course. His first-author publication was in the BMJ Open, where he published the protocol for a first of its kind randomized controlled trial in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Ali is also one of the founding and board of directors members for the Emirates Public Health Association. He was assigned to the secretary-general role in the association in 2019. Finally, he is also certified as a project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, United States.

Al Zarooni has over 13 years of solid experience in healthcare, having previously held the positions of Chief Medical Officer of the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations – Medical Division and Director of Medical Affairs Department at Hatta Hospital, as well as Director of Airport Medical Center at Rashid Hospital. Earlier in his career, he also worked at the Dubai Health Authority, and as a Family Medicine Resident at the Department of Health and Medical Services. Dr. Al Zarooni graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Surgery. Charles Doarn serves as the inaugural director of UC’s Space Research Institute for Discoveryand Exploration. In addition, he is a Research Professor and the MPH Program Director in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences, Division of Public Health, University of Cincinnati (UC), College of Medicine. He also has academic appointments at the full professor level in Political Science at UC, Aerospace Medicine at Wright State University, and Emergency Medicine at George Washington University. He currently provides subject matter expertise in aerospace medicine to NASA’s Chief Health and Medical Officer and serves as the co-chair of Federal Telehealth Working Group for the U.S. Government. Doarn has worked closely the NATO, the Department of Defense, and the Department of State as a Fulbright Specialist. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from The Ohio State University in 1980 and an MBA from the University of Dayton in 1988. Dr. Dana Al-Hamwi, a specialized nutritionist, received her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Damascus and earned her Master’s degree specializing in Human Nutrition from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Daniel holds 2 decades of experience in delivering technology to optimize healthcare processes. His last position was at Novartis where he has been leading the Digital Health Solutions for the APMEA region. In this role, he led the strategy and portfolio development of transformational initiatives that deliver better patient outcomes in therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, ophthalmology or oncology. Prior to this role and to Novartis, Daniel worked for Etisalat where he was the Director of Digital Health business unit. In this position, he defined and executed the digital strategy for the healthcare sector in the telco giant and developed new cloud-based digital services for telemedicine, genomics, chronic disease management and remote patient monitoring. Daniel owns a strong digital health background. During his career, Daniel has implemented digital health solutions in over 10 countries. Prior to his role in Etisalat, he was the responsible of the Medical Imaging and Telemedicine services in Telefonica Digital for Europe and LATAM.

Dr. Deena Elsori is an Associate Professor and the Academic Advisor for the Dean of Faculty at Rabdan Academy. Before joining Rabdan Academy, she was the Associate Dean of Student Affairs for the College of Health Sciences at Abu Dhabi University. She Achieved several significant milestones and accredited for being a top-performing professor with excellent team leadership capabilities, constantly instilling a plethora of knowledge in students. Her Accolades included achieving distinguished faculty award several times throughout her career in higher education. Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Deena was a postdoctoral fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. Her research focused on chronic inflammation and heart disease. Emaan’s life was turned upside-down at the age of 21 after her first-ever trip to the gynecologist, where she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, that had been caused by HPV. Took part in the working group (WHO expert, occupational health) on the compilation of the first ever ILO / IMO Guidelines on the medical examination of seafarers (Geneva, 1996), won Professorship in 2000, authored four dozen books and manuals for ship doctors, for medical examiners of seafarers, for nautical officers in charge of medical care on board ship, for diving physicians and for diver-medics. Together with prof. N.N. Gurin, the patriarch in the grounds of modern practice of medical care at sea, has edited two comprehensive compendiums: “Maritime Health at the Millennium” and “Ship Medicine.” The first one is a collection of research abstracts and an overview of scientific progress benchmarks, and the latter is the second edition of the well-known Russian manual for physicians engaged in the shipping industry. For the last two decades, Prof. K. Dr. Shadab Khan is the Director of AI and Applied Sciences at G42 Healthcare, where he leads a team of AI scientists, product managers, and engineers to solve problems in Healthcare AI.
